Q: Are there any purchase requirements, such as a minimum order, and payment methods when buying from Taylor Scientific?
A: Yes, we have a $100.00 minimum order. We accept Mastercard and Visa. If you have an account with us, you can submit a purchase order. To set up an account with us, download credit application form and fax to us at 314-962-9382 or call us toll free at 1-800-727-0467.
Q: What delivery options are available?
A: For orders placed by 11:00a.m. Central time and merchandise is in stock, your order will ship same day. You may request next day or second day delivery or ground delivery.
For local customer orders and merchandise is in stock, customer may request one-hour and three-hour delivery or will call requests.
Q: Are there extra charges for delivery?
A: Yes. Extra charges for next day and second day delivery, one-hour and three-hour delivery would apply. Products considered hazardous require special packaging handling and additional shipping charges. Please inquire within when placing your order.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: All returns must have a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Number. All returns may be subject to restocking charge. Call 314-962-5555 or 800-727-0467 to obtain a RGA number.
To insure proper credit each request for return must include:
- Customer name and address
- Taylor shipping order number
- Date of Invoice
- Taylor catalog number
- Customer purchase order number
- Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Number
- Reason for return
Also, we can not accept any merchandise after thirty (30 days).
Q. Are there items that can not be returned?
A: Items not acceptable for Return or Credit.
- Products that are not in good condition for resale (including products with damaged, missing or defaced labeling or packaging)
- Any controlled products such as chemicals, reagents, diagnostics, sterile (unless products do not meet specification)
- Used laboratory apparatus or instruments or items without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals.
- Refrigerated products or other perishables
- Products purchased on a Special Order Basis or custom and non-stocked items (unless manufacturer will accept returns)
- Merchandise not purchased from Taylor Scientific
- Merchandise that has been discontinued.
- Merchandise with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
Q: How should return of hazardous materials be handled?
A: Return shipments of hazardous materials must be marked, packed, labeled and shipped in accordance with DOT regulations applicable to transportation of hazardous substances.
Q: Does Taylor Scientific offer a merchandise guarantee if something I ordered arrives broken?
A: We will replace merchandise at no charge if reported within 24 hours from delivery. Note all damages and discrepancies with the carrier and call us immediately at us toll free number at 1-800-727-0467.
