Q: Are there minimum order requirements when buying from Taylor Scientific?
A: Yes. We require a $100.00 minimum per order.

Q: What is the process for setting up an account for new customers and what are the accepted methods of payment?
A: For domestic customers paying by credit card, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For both traditional orders over the phone and for web orders on our e-commerce platform, your credit card will not be run until your item(s) have been shipped. Once a new customer elects to place an order, our customer service representative will establish an account and a customer number. For new customers looking for Net 30 credit terms, a credit application will need to be submitted and approved. Please call or email Jennifer Kraus (jenn@taylorscientific.com) who will provide a credit application and handle any questions.

Q: Does Taylor Scientific accept international orders?
A: Yes. For international customers, we require payment in advance via wire transfer. However, for international customers who wish to purchase merchandise via credit card on our webstore, the credit card must be associated with a United States billing address for it to be approved online. There is a $200 minimum per order for international customers. Please call or email our international customer service representative Tom Rissmann (tom@taylorscientific.com) with any international related questions.

Q: Can Taylor Scientific comply with rush shipment and/or special shipment requests?
A: Yes. Please inquire with customer service to discuss your requirements and we will work with you to get your items where you need them and when you need them.

Q: Are there fees associated with any of your items?
A: Yes. Hazardous products require a $25.00 fee per order. Additionally, for international orders there is a $25.00 handling fee per order.

Q: Does Taylor Scientific reserve the right to adjust prices on the webstore based on changing market conditions?
A: Yes. While we do our very best to provide the most accurate information to our customers on our e-commerce platform, the vast amount of sku's we offer for sale, combined with the fact that we are a small business, makes it challenging to have all information, including pricing, fully up to date at all times.

Q: What is Taylor Scientific's return policy?
A: Taylor Scientific enforces a strict policy of not refunding cash for returned items. Credit balances are offset against future purchases from our company. Customers will be granted credit for valid merchandise that is returned within 30 days of shipment. All returns must have a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Please call 314-962-5555 or 1-800-727-0467 to obtain an RGA number. All returns are to be shipped with freight prepaid by the purchaser and are subject to a restocking charge of 15-20%.

A: Yes. The list below are examples of products that would not be returnable per company policy:

  2. Any controlled products such as chemicals, diagnostics, or sterile items (unless products do not meet specification)
