The disc will not disintegrate when acids (except HF) or moderate alkaline solutions are in contact with the porous medium. Uniform pore diameter insures stable rate of flow. The 25 mL crucibles have a diameter of 36 mm at top and 42 mm high. See 11-6660 for covers.
