Distilling Apparatus - Electrically Heated, Classic Models, Barnstead/Thermolyne, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Barnstead stills are designed to eliminate all types of impurities - organic, inorganic, bacterial and pyrogenic. Construction materials include copper, brass, bronze and pure tin. All parts in contact with the distillate are heavily tin coated. Exterior jacket of still is fabricated from stainless steel; condenser and fittings, are polished nickel plated finish. The distilled water produced by these stills contains not more than 1 ppm total solids with a pH value of 5.4 to 7.2 and an electrical resistance of not less than 300,000 ohms at 25°C.

All stills are designed for use with tap water and are available with or without low water cutoff. Low water cutoff is strongly recommended for all electrically heated stills since the heaters will burn out if the water supply is interrupted.

All models can be mounted on a suitable floor stand or hung on the wall by use of proper wall brackets; information supplied on request. Models equipped for a demineralized water feed are available;information supplied on request. MODELS BELOW HAVE LOW-WATER CUT-OFF (Cutoff operates on 120v, 50/60 Hz, AC)
