Dry Ice Storage Chest - Floor Models, Thermo-Safe®, Sonoco

Lightweight chests have excellent cold retention efficiency because of 0.19 "K" factor. Molded foam insulation, 2 inches thick, is expanded polystyrene which is non-deteriorating, vapor proof, water-proof and non-settling. Temperature protection remains constant throughout the life of the chest. Insulation is enclosed inside and out by an industrial grade plastic, which is washable, scuffproof, corrosion proof and USDA approved. Color is laboratory grey. Hinged lid has snap-open support that permits it to remain upright, freeing both hands. Closure latches are nickel plated steel. The 235 lb. (5 cubic foot size) will keep dry ice up to 15.2 days; the 155 lb. (2 1/2 cubic foot size) permits a 10 day storage period; the 90 lb. (1.6 cubic foot size) permits a 6 day storage period.
