Corning® PYREXPLUS® Coated Squibb Separatory Funnel, PTFE Product Standard Stopcock, Glass Standard Taper Stopper

These PYREXPLUS® coated pear-shaped separatory funnels have a protective PVC coating for longer product life and safety. Protective coating helps prevent glass from shattering and reduces spills, is autoclavable (121° C) and resistant to thermal shock. The funnels have Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) Product Standard stopcocks and strong, hollow Standard Taper glass stoppers. The PTFE plug fits into the micro-finish barrel. The plug also reduces freezing problems and grease contamination. For replacement glass Standard Taper stoppers, see No. 7650; for PTFE stopcock assemblies, see No. 7681. WARNING: Do not place over direct heat or flame or heat above 121°C moist heat or 110°C dry heat.
