Description

Lovibond test discs are made from color fast glass filters and eliminate the need to prepare standard solutions. The Hazen color unit is determined by the number of mg of Platinum in the form of Hexachloroplatinate and Cobalt Chloride of known proportions contained in 1000mL of aqueous hydrochloric acid. Sold in sets. Each set of test discs cover set measuring range of Hazen Standards defined in mg Pt/L.
