Klari-Flex units provide vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions such as cell culture media, biological fluids, and buffers. Filtration units achieve an automatic vacuum connection when used in conjunction with the Klari-Flex system pedestal stand. Simply place the funnel/bottle filtration unit on the stand to ensure connection to the vacuum line; no need for connecting and disconnecting the vacuum line each time a new filtration unit is used. Drop-Connect technology ensures fail-safe vacuum connection and unit placement in base.
For maximum convenience, use the low-profile, high-stability pedestal stand; the cradle ring has similar functionality to the pedestal stand, but must be used together with a standard laboratory stand. Klari-Flex filters can also be used like conventional bottle top filters by using the adapter supplied with each disposable unit.
Weighted pedestal base and wide, low-profile funnel/bottle filtration units are stable and tip resistant, minimizing the risk of spills and contamination. Graduation marks face front for readability. Large bottle cap accommodates labeling information. Ergonomically designed bottle and bottle cap provide improved handling. Membrane material is PES.
