Hot Plate - Pyroceram®, Corning®

Excellent general purpose hot plates with Corning's exclusive glass-ceramic Pyroceram® top, which heats up and cools down evenly, will not warp, is easy to clean, and is resistant to acids, chemicals, scratches, stains and corrosion. Low profile design saves space and two piece casting construction deflects spills away from electronics. Includes built-in support rod mount.

Microprocessor controls ensure fast consistent heating. Electronics are enclosed and sealed for protection and prolonged life. Power indicator light and large control knob with easy to read numbers provide better control. The "Hot Top" warning indicator light blinks when top surface is too hot to touch. High-tech insulation keeps heat on the top and conserves energy. External socket is provided on the PC-400 and PC-600 models to accommodate optional temperature or remote controller.
