Description

Clear, thin, microporous filters with a smooth flat surface and precisely controlled cylindrical pores. Extremely useful when veiwing surface samples with optical and electron microscopes, clear filters eliminate the steps in microscopy required when using mixed esters of cellulose filters. These fikters do not stain, minimizing background interference. Pores can be sealed by chloroform. Black polycarbonate membranes are useful in reducing background fluorescence in epifluorescence microscopy applications as well as for particle counting.
