These 384 well polypropylene plates are available in six colors and are suitable for a variety of applications. The plates have the same footprint (86 x 128mm) as standard 96 well plates and are compatible with robotic and automated liquid handling systems. The plates offer well spacing of 4.5mm center to center. Total well volume is 120µl with a recommended working volume of 10-100µl per well. The well geometry is a rounded square with a round bottom to minimize wicking and allow efficient washing and maximum recovery of well contents.

Alphanumeric coordinates provide easy orientation and sample identification. The plates are resistant to most chemicals, solvents, and alcohols. They are non-toxic and withstand a wide range of temperatures. They are suitable for storage in mechanical freezers at -80°C and withstand temperatures to +80°C, which are required for some combinatorial chemistry procedures.

The polypropylene plates can also be centrifuged at low speeds. Minimal binding properties make these plates ideal for liquid phase assays, sample preparation, sample storage and chemical synthesis. White plates are suitable for luminescence assays and black plates are suitable for fluorescence detection assays. Plates are also available in red, blue, yellow, and natural color for other applications. The natural color plates are available either sterile or non-sterile while all other plates are available non-sterile only.

All plates are supplied without lids.
