SuperClear™ tubes include extra large printed white labeling spots with accurate black graduations that are resistant to most laboratory chemicals. SuperClear™ polypropylene tubes use a special resin that is clearer than other polypropylene tubes but stronger to permit centrifuging to 15,000 RCF*.
SuperClear™tubes have plug seal style caps for leak proof processing and fits standard rotors. Polypropylene tubes are autoclavable (122 C) and freezable (-90 C) and are non-cytotoxic. Polyethylene caps are not autoclavable. Polystyrene tubes can withstand temperatures from 90 C to -40 C.
All RCF values are established at room temperature using appropriate cushions and rotors. Stressing tubes by autoclaving, freezing, unbalanced loading, or chemical etching may reduce maximum RCF.
