This system features removable, polystyrene chambers that are sealed to a 25x75mm non-fluorescent glass slide using biocompatible acrylic adhesive. The sealant remains with the media chamber after detachment, leaving a hydrophobic border to define cell culture areas. A tabbed cover fits over the media chamber allowing gas exchange while minimizing evaporation. The slides are provided sterile with an RS wash to create a consistent growth surface for adherent cell lines.

Numbers along the border of the chamber and a Superfrost® writing area on the slide facilitate identification.
