Nunc optical bottom plates offer clear well bottoms due to a thin under layer of polystyrene, which enhances clarity and permits microscopic viewing of well contents. These plates offer the flexibility to read plates from the top, bottom, or both sides. These optical bottom 384 well polystyrene plates are available with cell culture treated, non-treated or MaxiSorp™ surfaces and with black or white upper surfaces. This selection of colors and surfaces is suitable for a variety of high throughput applications in various disciplines. These 384 well plates have the same footprint (86 x 128mm) as standard 96 well plates and are compatible with robotic and automated liquid handling systems. They are ideal for high throughput screening applications. Total well volume is 120µl with a recommended working volume of 10 - 100µl per well. Cell culture treated plates are sterile and supplied with lids. Non-treated and MaxiSorp plates are supplied without lids. Choice of white plates for luminescence detection or black plates for fluorometric detection applications.
