Description

The viscosity cup consists of a bullet-shaped, corrosion resistant, stainless steel cup with a precision drilled orifice. It has a 12-inch looped handle. A small ring at the top of the handle aligns cup in a vertical position when withdrawing from liquid. The viscosimeter provides readings in units called viscosity-seconds, which is the time required for a definite volume (44 cc) to flow through the orifice. Overall length, 13 3/4 inches; cup width x depth, 1 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches; cup capacity, 44 mL.
