Provides continuous or timed orbital shaking in a controlled temperature environment. Temperature is controlled by a hydraulic thermostat over range of 0°C to 60°C. Low and high limit thermostats automatically maintain temperature should primary control thermostat fail. Hermetically sealed large capacity compressor is used for controlled cooling. Heating is provided by high efficiency electrical heating elements. Twin blowers mounted in ceiling help maintain uniform atmospheric conditions throughout chamber. Temperature is displayed on a dial thermometer in control panel. Shaking speed is 40 to 400 orbits in a one inch diameter circle. It is controlled by solid-state speed selector and displayed on direct reading tachometer. 10.4 cubic foot interior is made of stainless steel. See 21-5901, 21-5892 and 21-5893 for platforms and clamps. Chamber is 33 x 21 x 26 inches. Overall dimensions: 40 x 26 x 66 inches high. For operation on 120 volts, 60 Hz, AC, 1800 watts.
