Unitized Jar Mills - U.S. Stoneware

Exclusive roller design keeps jars in place without accessory positioners. "Creepage" is eliminated - jars can't work off rollers, fall and break. Rollers are long-wearing oil-, solvent- and chemical-resistant neoprene rubber, which is electrically-conductive to bleed off to ground hazardous static electricity generated by rotating jars. Model 755RMV is a single tier, single jar unit having 2 inch diameter rollers 13 inches long. With a 3-position, slot-type spacing adjustment on the idler roller, this mill will handle Nos. 000 through 1 Roalox Mill Jars (or other round containers from 2 to 10 inches in diameter).

Model 764AVM is similar to Model 755RMV except is a single tier, double jar unit. 784 Series mills are multi-tier units with a separate set of 13 inch long rollers for each jar. Like the 755RMV, rollers on all have 3-position adjustment, will handle the same range of jar sizes.

These multi-tier mills are designed with metal "pans" under each tier of rollers. These pans have depressions which will contain jar contents should any spillage or breakage occur, protecting the floor or jars on the level beneath. All of these jar mills have sturdy, all welded construction and feature powerful roller chain drives and ball bearing pillow blocks with cartridge-type, permanently sealed ball bearings. These jar mills are fully portable, yet need not be bolted down during use.

All models have totally enclosed, variable speed, DC drives with electronic speed control which provides an infinitely variable roller speed from 20 to 300 rpm. Speed can be varied while the mill is in operation. Motors are 1/3 or 1/4 hp, 50/60 cycle, 110/115V, single phase, furnished with standard plug. Options: Explosion-proof motors, revolution counter, timer, start-stop motor controls. Note: Mill Jars and grinding media are not supplied and must be ordered separately.
