These high temperature tube furnaces achieve excellent temperature uniformity at 1700°C with rapid heat-up, recovery and cool-down. Available in two popular sizes with heated tube length of 12 or 24 inches. Moldatherm® graduated density insulation adds to safety and performance by forming enhanced insulation protection between high temperature chamber and exterior cabinet surface.
The combination of molybdenium disilicide heating elements and Moldatherm® insulation provides superior radial and linear temperature uniformity with resistance values. The long life type B thermocouple with 10' compensated lead wire and polorized plug assures accurate high temperature measurement. Removable louvered panels provide easy access to heating elements and thermocouple.
Double shell construction and convection cooling design reduces exterior surface temperature for greater energy efficiency and operator safety. Moldatherm® end vestibles accept 3" O.D. process tube. Power cord and interconnecting wiring supplied by customer.
Supplied without 18-2664-01 Control Console for 18-2456-03 or 18-2464-03 Control Console for 18-2456-04 which must be ordered seperately. For operation on 208/240 volts, 50/60Hz. (Lindberg/Blue M STF54434C, STF54454C) Note: Optional vestibules permit operation with 1" and 2" O.D. process tubes; information available on request.
