The rocking platform produces a smooth, gentle rocking motion that meets the requirements of a variety of mixing needs such as gel staining, mixing of vacutainer tubes, and aeration of cultures. Rocker can be safely used in an incubator (not to exceed 40°C) and cold rooms. Rocking motion is constant at 10 oscillations per minute, and the platform moves through a 10° angle from the horizontal plane. On/off switch and mechanical timer (1 to 60 min. or continuous) is on front panel. Rugged steel body encases the motor to prevent hazardous spills onto drive mechanism. Platform dimensions: 11 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches with a 1/2 inch ledge, plus a grooved rubber mat to prevent containers from sliding off. Cushioned rubber feet for stability also prevent creeping.
