For use with 18-2435-03 box furnace. Programmable 1700°C controller provides 16 programmable segments consisting of 8 ramps and 8 dwells per program. Multiple profiles for various applications may be developed from the 16 segment programs by linking them into a single 64-segment program.
The controller displays ramp rate, dwell time, program segment, and percent power output. A holdback feature allows the operator to set a process versus set point temperature value which, when exceeded, holds the program to allow the process to catch up. The controller includes an advanced self-tuning feature, which automatically sets the best PID settings for the thermal process. Two LED displays simultaneously indicate actual and set point temperatures. High limit over-temperature protection is standard. The control console includes a circuit breaker, power module, transformer, and cooling fans.
Includes RS232 communications card and data port for connection to remote computer and allowing interrogation, modification, and transfer of all instrument control and configuration parameters. Software not included. Temperature range is 500°C to 1700°C. Overall dimensions are 21 W x 15 D x 10 H, inches.
