Furnaces - Box for Operation to 1700°C, Independent Control, Lingberg/Blue M

These 1700°C Box Furnaces with independent control are designed for applications, which require fast heat-up rates. The 3500 watt model reaches 1700°C in only 15 minutes. Available in two popular sizes. The molybdenum disilicide heating elements with unique right angle bend and sidewall mounting reduce maintenance usually associated with element termination and mounting. Modular design makes for easy replacement of elements without matching resistance values.

Moldatherm® high temperature ceramic fiber insulation with advanced graduated density composition allows fast heat-up and provides resistance to thermal shock. The vertically hinged door lifts up to provide full access to chamber, save space and minimize exposure to operator. Removable panels provide easy access for reducing heating elements and thermocouples.

High volume cooling fans circulate air between inner and outer chamber to reduce exterior shell temperature, provide greater energy efficiency and operator safety. Moldatherm® hearthplate supports load and prevents damage to chamber due to spillage. The long-life type B thermocouple with 10' compensated lead wire and polarized plug assure accurate high temperature measurement. Power cord and interconnecting wiring supplied by customer.
